1. Overview

Welcome to Kadoya TCG. The terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Kadoya TCG, a sole trader business. These terms govern your use of kadoyatcg.com (the "website"), all related content, features, tools, products and services (the "Services"), and any purchases made through the site. Kadoya TCG is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

By visiting, interacting with, using the Services, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use or access the Services. Please read these terms carefully, as they include important information about your legal rights, including warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability. Kadoya TCG reserves the right to update these terms at any time (see section 14).

2. Access and Account

By agreeing to these terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your country of residence, and that you consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use the Services on devices you own, purchase or manage.

To use the Services, including browsing the store or purchasing products, you may be asked to provide certain information such as your email address and billing, payment and shipping details. You represent and warrant that all information you provide is correct, current and complete, and that you have all rights necessary to provide it. You agree to promptly update your information so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You may not transfer, sell, assign, or license your account to any other person.

3. Products

All products are individual trading cards or sealed trading card products. For unique and graded items, the product image is of the actual item for sale. For all other cards, images are illustrative and may not show the exact variant, finish, or copy you receive — the variant, finish, and condition stated in the listing govern what is sold. For example, where a listing specifies the Normal variant you will receive the Normal card even if the image shows a patterned reverse holo (such as a Poké Ball or Master Ball finish), and vice versa. Card conditions are assessed to the best of our ability and described in the listing.

We have made every effort to represent our products accurately, but colours and product appearance may differ from how they appear on your screen due to your device and its settings. We do not warrant that the appearance or quality of any product will meet your expectations or match exactly how it is depicted online. All product descriptions are subject to change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any product and to limit the quantities of any product we offer to any person, region, or jurisdiction on a case-by-case basis.

4. Pricing

All prices are listed in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Prices, discounts and promotions are subject to change without notice. The price charged will be the price in effect at the time the order is placed, as set out in your order confirmation email. Unless otherwise stated, posted prices do not include shipping or handling charges.

Listings are published in good faith, but errors can occur. Where a listing contains an obvious or manifest pricing or description error — for example a price that is clearly wrong by an order of magnitude — we are not obliged to honour it, even where an order has been placed or payment has been taken, and we may cancel the affected order and issue a full refund (see section 5).

Where a promotion is governed by separate terms and there is a conflict between those terms and these terms, the promotion terms will govern for that promotion. Prices posted online may differ from prices offered through any third-party platform.

5. Orders

When you place an order you are making an offer to purchase. Payment is processed through Shopify's secure checkout and you will receive an email confirmation with your order details. That confirmation acknowledges your order but does not constitute our acceptance of it — a contract of sale is formed only when we dispatch the goods.

Up to that point we may decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including where a listing contained a pricing, description, or stock error, where stock turns out to be unavailable, or where we suspect fraud or abuse. Where an order is cancelled, any payment taken is refunded in full. This does not affect your statutory rights. Where we decline, change, or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the email, billing address, and/or phone number provided at the time of the order.

Please review your order carefully before submitting, as we may be unable to accommodate cancellation requests after dispatch. Your purchases are subject to return or exchange solely in accordance with section 7.

6. Payment

Payment is processed securely by Shopify. We do not store or have access to your payment card details. Accepted payment methods are displayed at checkout. You represent and warrant that the payment information you provide is true, correct and complete, that you are authorised to use the payment method, and that you will pay all charges incurred at the posted prices, including shipping and handling and any applicable taxes.

7. Shipping and Delivery

Orders are dispatched as described on our shipping page. All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to the buyer upon delivery. We are not responsible for delays caused by the postal service, shipping carriers, customs processing, or other events outside our control, but will assist with tracking and claims where possible.

8. Returns & Refunds

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery as described in our returns policy. Sealed product that has been opened, and any item whose authenticity or condition relies on an intact seal — such as graded slabs and other authenticated collectibles — are non-returnable and non-refundable once that seal or case has been broken or tampered with. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including for items that are faulty or not as described, are not affected.

9. Condition Grading

Card conditions are assessed on our own seven-tier letter scale (A, A-, B+, B, B-, C, D). These grades are broadly similar to the familiar Near Mint, Lightly Played, Moderately Played, and Heavily Played categories, but they are our own scale and do not correspond exactly to those used by any other shop or grading service. Full grade descriptions are on our card condition guide. While we grade carefully and consistently, condition assessment is inherently subjective. If you disagree with a grading, contact us within 14 days for a resolution.

10. Intellectual Property

Trading card names, images, and designs are the intellectual property of their respective publishers (The Pokémon Company, Wizards of the Coast, Konami, Bandai, and others). Kadoya TCG claims no ownership of those works and reproduces them only to identify and describe the items we sell.

The Kadoya TCG name and logo, and the design, layout, selection, arrangement, and written content of this website, are our property and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These terms permit you to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, republish, download, store, or transmit any of our material without our prior written consent. Shopify's name, logo and trademarks are the property of Shopify. All other names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

11. Prohibited Uses and Automated Access

You may access and use the Services for lawful purposes only. You may not use the Services, directly or indirectly: for any unlawful or malicious purpose; to violate any applicable laws or regulations; to infringe the intellectual property rights of us or others; to harass, abuse, defame, or harm any person; to transmit false or misleading information; to send spam or unsolicited promotional material; to impersonate any person or entity; or to engage in any conduct that restricts anyone's use or enjoyment of the Services.

You also agree not to: upload or transmit viruses or malicious code; reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Services; collect or track the personal information of others; or interfere with, bypass, or circumvent the security or access-control measures we employ. We reserve the right to suspend, disable, or terminate access at any time, without notice, if we determine that you have violated any part of these terms.

Automated agents — software or services that take autonomous or semi-autonomous action on behalf of a person — may access the Services only where they identify themselves as an agent (including the name of the agent in the request's user agent string), do not conceal or obfuscate that the access is automated, do not mimic human behaviour or circumvent measures intended to distinguish automated access from human use, respond truthfully when asked whether interactions come from a human or a computer, and do not circumvent any measure intended to block, limit, or control how agents access the Services. We may limit, including by technical measures, whether and how any agent accesses the Services.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Information on the Services is provided for general information purposes only, and we do not warrant its accuracy, completeness, or usefulness; any reliance you place on it is at your own risk. Except as expressly stated by us, and subject to your statutory rights, the Services and all products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties or conditions of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that your use of the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

13. Limitation of Liability

Kadoya TCG is a sole trader business. To the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject to your statutory rights, our liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of this website or the purchase of our products. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Kadoya TCG is powered by Shopify, but any sales and purchases you make are made directly with Kadoya TCG. Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sale between you and Kadoya TCG.

14. Changes to These Terms

You can review the most current version of these terms at any time on this page. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to update, change, or replace any part of these terms by posting the changes to our website. We will notify you of any material changes in accordance with applicable law, and such changes will be effective on the date specified in the notice. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

15. General

If any provision of these terms is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision will be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreements. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms without our prior written consent; we may assign ours without notice.

16. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
